Description
Early Snowball Cauliflower needs a little more TLC getting established, so plant indoors about six to eight weeks before the last Spring frost. Best results come from timing your cauliflower seedlings so they are not more than five weeks old at the time they are transplanted outdoors. Make sure to plant outdoors during cooler weather — like other cauliflower varieties, this one gets a little fussy in hot weather and may not produce as well. Soil should be nearly PH neutral and rich in organic matter. Mulch protects the shallow roots and keeps the soil moist. Harvest when heads are between six and seven inches in diameter with tightly formed white curds.
